A long, long summer...

So we haven't been on here since July 16th!!!! That's crazy!!! We- as most people this time of year- have been thoroughly enjoying our summer break. No school, sleeping in, no school, being lazy, no school, and CAMP! This year Mili got sick at camp...again! But we still had a blast!!!! 

This is some of camp. These are the swings. These are our favorite swings on the face of the earth! Its sandy and soft below, and when you swing it really feels like you are flyiiiinnnngggg!!!!!

This is more of the "yard". Mili put her initials on that picnic table...everybody does- such a rebel! This picnic table happens to be smack in the middle of the most sunshiny part of camp- quite a great place to hang out!

Here's a cabin! Northwoods 1! Quite quaint and comfy... forget about the ginormous moths and creepy spiders...

This is the DINING HALL!!!!! It's where we eat food!!! Food is delicious! We.Love.Food.

This is the inside of the dining hall. This is what it looks like when alot of people are hungry all in one building at once. Its chaotic, its wonderful, it smells good, it's a happy place.

Activities are- motor-cross, swimming, water activities, archery, crafts, and ropes course! This is the ropes course! The best part is when you jump off of that plat form with the ladder below it at the end. At the end you jump and they propell you down. You feel like Peter Pan and you feel accomplished!

Tangled- a movie review

We watched this movie again last night. This is Tangled. We love it :)

This is Rapunzel. The free spirited princess of the story. We wish we had hair like her. Most girls wish they were her. She's funny, spunky, and not to mention quite curious of the world around her.

Her weapon of choice- a skillet... great for baking cookies in and knocking out creepers. Everyone should have one.

This is Flynn Rider- and yes... he does think he's all that, as you see in the picture above. Lots of smolder....

Maximus the horse- by far one of the funniest movie animals we've ever seen. He reminds us of our dog Kipper- He's funny, thinks he's fierce, but he's really just a big baby.

This is Pascal. Rapunzel's pet frog... I mean chameleon. He has a cute little attitude.

The scenery of this movie is just so amazing, so lush, so... Disneyified. But its like one big yummy dessert table for the eyes- and ears!

This is our favorite part by far. It's just so warm and lovely!

5 Things to do today...or tomorrow...or the next day...

1. Go swing on a swingset- find one, and be like a bird for a few minutes, or an hour. Just swing untill the sun sets... or rises!

2. Make a big cookie in a skillet- its really easy! Just take your favorite cookie dough, smoosh it into a skillet, bake at the same time and temperature as the recipe says. Its like a pizza...but its not. Yum!

3. Smell some flowers and really take time to enjoy them. Any flowers will do.

4. Pick some raspberries, or any kind of fruit. Fruit is good. God made fruit. God is good. It's all good!

5. go play with your dog, or somebody else's dog... or give him a bath- your parents would appreciate that!

It's amazing that we- so messed up, sinners- had someone take it all away so that we could be healed and  be brought peace. It's crazy, it's real, it's the love of God!
